I know some of you have been curious in the past what the "Anglican" part of AnglicanBeachParty means.

If you're going to attend the Arnold this year, and will still be around on Sunday morning, here is your chance to find out!

I found this traditional Anglican parish (http://www.christchurchanglican.org/), about 3/4 mile north of the Expo. I'll be attending the 10:00 AM Holy Communion service on Sunday, March 7. Anyone who is curious to see what Anglican worship is like ... come on along!

Have you ever been to England? If you have, and you attended services there, how would they be similar and disimilar to the service you attend to here? The church of England is Anglican if i'm not mistaken.

Yes. Anglican refers to having its origin in the Church of England.

I worshipped at St. Paul's Cathedral, London. Very similar service! (Somewhat fancier building, though! :D )

Yeah, just slightly!!! :D I went to hear their boy's choir in concert one night, and whenever they finished a song the sound HUNG in the air for around 3/4 of a minute because of the acoustics created from it being such a HUGE place!! It's also the home of my all-time FAVORITE painting of Christ--"The Light of the World" by William Holman Hunt

Yes. I remember seeing that Holman Hunt painting in books when I was a kid. Then, suddenly, while touring through St. Paul's before the noon Eucharist, there it was. I had no idea it was there until I saw it.
