I have a room at the Embassy Suites (just a one block walk from the Olympia Expo). We have two gals in the 2-room suite (2 double beds and one sofa bed). Refrigerator, Microwave. And FREE made-to-order breakfast. $94 total if your friend wants to room with us Friday and Saturday nights. Let me know!
