Wow!! To be on the show's poster and your not a guest poser or a previous winner...(or has she won?) Either way, great accomplishment.

Mervi Ikonen, figure competitor in short class, had a photo shoot with Mike Sirén (http://www.pakkotoisto.com/mike) yesterday. Cannot really say anything about condition but nice pics anyway.

Unfortunatelly Linda Fodor Egelstig is not going to compete. More about it in her blog (http://www.metrobloggen.se/jsp/public/index.jsp?article=19.479802) or in BODY. (http://www.bodylehti.fi/bodynews.jsp?id=1352&f=0&flang=0) Take care and rest now, Linda! Hope to see at least in the Worlds!

Looking forward to see Minna Pajulahti on stage. Minna competes in fitness, won finnish nationals last year and was 7th in the Worlds.

This was bad news about Linda, but again she have to look after her self... but will miss her in Sweden, I think the same goes for Kristina D and Stina T.

Hope she will be ready for the World Championship 2008:)

Hi

Linda is alright, just her body that is really tired after a full year on diet (only 2-3 weeks off). And the 7 weeks preparations for Arnold were tough after she had gained 3-4kg during our vacation in Malaysia. She has had this feeling since Arnold, but tried and tried to continue dieting... but at last it was enough.

Unfortunately the body did not want to do any more training or cardio. And to push even further should have risked both the health and also the possibilities for winning the World Championships this year, and that is her primary goal.

The status could be called overtrained!

She will take many weeks of from training and dieting, and some time in the summer start preparing for the Worlds.

OK. We had this contest today in Finland. To be honest, I was extremely dissapointed on girls. Nearly noone was in good condition, only few ...

Here is a few pics taken by Mike Sirén.

Short figure class : first call out from left to right and final placement.
Second pic is winner Tarja Vähäkuopus.
