Flex Online.com:

Reigning FIgure International champ Zivile Raudoniene has just informed flexonline that she will not compete in the 2009 Figure Olympia. The 27-year-old, who placed third at the 2008 Olympia, was one of the favorites going into September's show of shows after nabbing the Figure International title this past March in Columbus, Ohio.

Rumors have been circulating for the last few weeks that the Lithuanian beauty may be in line to join the ranks of the WWE. Could her decision to skip her sport's most prestigious event be related? We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we know, right here on flexonline.

WOW! Didn't see that coming at all. Pretty bummed that Zivile isn't competing at the O, but it will be very interesting (at least to me, as I'm a longtime WWE fan) to see if she ends up in the WWE, assuming the rumors turn out to be true.

That was a surprise. Would been interesting to see her in Olympia game. Although I did not like her nearly anorectic look in figure.

She will make about 10000x more money in the WWE than IFBB.

I think you're right...pro figure girls don't make much $$. I think it's a shame considering how much time & effort they put into competing. That goes for fitness & bb too.
I've heard some say that if they were working a regular job their take-home salary doesn't even come close to minimum wage.

I'm surprised when I heard this news in a week ago or so. Well, it will give more opportunity for the competitors to win for Figure Olympia!!! I can see there are so many good competitors. I'm so excited and can't wait to watch this competiton!

Well that stinks! But whatever makes her happy! She will do well no matter if she's in the WWE or IFBB.

Well that's a major bummer, although IF she does go the WWE Route, and it because of money...well, she will be successful for danged sure!!

Another in the line of well-known competitors stepping aside this year. I hope she finds lots of success with the WWE. She will definitely earn more money over there.
