Who's competing?

Just curious of who is competing this year? I am not sure if I am doing the show. Still deciding.

I plan on competing this year. I've been wanting to do this show since 2008 but I also compete in womens tri fitness world challenge which was the same weekend in 2008 and this year. Last year I did NPC jr nationals so this year is TeamU or bust! lol ...I am still rehabbing from shoulder surgery so I will be starting my training journal next month when I start my contest prep

Still contemplating....being that it's only two weeks b4 Masters Nats I'm definitely considering it!! Luckily w/ the location change in venue the prices in hotels will be much more affordable!! I'm still tripping about how my room for 3 nights in Manhattan cost 2x more than 5 days in Vegas!!!

Team U is on my list of nationals shows to compete at! Since I am on the east coast and isn't a bad drive from VA..I would be silly not to do it!

I'll be competing in bikini - it'll be my first national level show

ok sorry to be a pain but i was just told that you have to place in the top 2 in your class in a natural show?

wish i could find the actual team u info .. i am doing NC state april 10th .. i am natural not sure if show is ?

No, some one is giving you the wrong info. I competed at TU and I didn't receive my Nat'l qual at a Natural or "tested" show..it was just a regular National Qualifier.

Correct. Too qualify for Team U, you have to place top 5 in your class at a National Qualifier..........

One thing I'd like to point out to prevent mass confusion. The link attached is date 2008. At the bottom it states that your Nat'l Qualification is 2 years. For those who received there Nat'l qual in 2009, it is only for 1 year.

Now the qual time is confusing to me. It was once discussed before. But the example I recall reading: For example if you rec'd your qual in May 2007 (prior to the new 1 yr qual in 2009) you could compete on the Nat'l level the remainder of 2007, and all of 2008 and 2009. Am I correct? And does placing top 5 at any of the Nat'l requalify you??

After hemming and hawing about my decision about this show, I have decided to sit this one out. Take a year off and concentrate on improving my physique. Haven't had a break since 2005. I am so burnt out from dieting and competing. A long break is needed. Good luck to everyone else who is competing!
