Default What can I expect?

What can I expect when I go to the Sacramento's competition? It will be my first event that I have ever intended. How does the scoring work? What do I need to look for? Are there going to be both genders represented? I love the art of bodybuilding and the drive of a competition. I am definately looking forward to this Saturday..

Both genders? Yes in the NPC (amateur) portion of the show.

IFBB Pro Figure is the main event. No male or female pro bodybuilding.

Enjoy the show!

Pro figure will not be long. Only 25 are competing.

Not sure how many are competing in the NPC, so no clue how long it will be.

When you get back be sure to let us know how it was.

You may enjoy the show as much as this person enjoyed his first show.............. CLICK HERE

Lightbulb I liked it ... I wanted More

I liked the show but it was rather disappointing by way of information about the event. I wanted to know a little synopsis of the different people and their background in the fitness industry. I also wanted a little bit of history of the body builders that were competing. The gentlemen that was at the end with the heart surgery was rather amazing. I am so glad he is with us to share his knowledge of bodybuilding to the world..
I learned alot..How was the scoring determined for the IFBB? The NPC? Was the IFBB the Professional level ? Is the NPC considered "amateur" or even "novice"? One in the same I suppose. What is an Open Class for a competition? What did the SWORD symbolize? I know it represents the best of the best. Instead of an actual trophy.
I wish there was a overall program of the different categories represented. I arrived at 530 pm.. They only had a 10 min intermission. Was there suppose to be a longer one?
But overall it was fun on all the athletes there and their physiques which were out of this world.. It is definately a added bonus to actually being there rather than watching it on TV.. I didnt take any pictures because I wass a little nervous bringing my camera in lue of the outside sign saying no out side cameras allowed. Or was it just geared toward the professional photographer?
