Toenail color?

Ok this is a silly detail question, but I'm 8 days out from my first show (bikini) and I am wondering what to do for toenail color (will do French manicure for nails). Does it have to be French manicure or clear or do most women do color on their toes?

trust me when i tell you that the LAST thing anyone will look at are your toes. paint them however you want.

seriously, you can't see someones toes from the judges table and again, we're not looking anywhere near your toes.

I've done french, coloured to match the suit and also CLEAR before too!! It doesnt matter.... plus the tan stains it all up usually anyway - even if you cover ur toes w/ lotion!

If you're doing french on your finger nails, I like a soft pink that complements on your tootsies.

While everyone is talking about nails, I've got a question too....Acrylics with a french manicure seems to be the norm, but is there anything else that looks good? I absolutely HATE having fake nails, but can't think of any other option that looks done, but is still neutral.

im w kim here..as a judge that is the last thing we are looking at. and u cant see toes anyway from where we sit.

With that I usually go with a neutral brown because I sometimes go barefoot in my fitness routine and I've just gotten use to neutral because when I have an aerial performance, I don't want to call attention to my toe nails. I also never wear acrylic nails because I can't stand how they feel. Which is why I'm always the one helping folks with their suits because I don't have nails.

Personally, I do my own nails.
Hence why I have my own nail-art site (see banner below).
Yes French tipped are typical but they don't have to be acrylic.
I don't do acrylics because I can't wear them for my job. As long as they're not distracting, you can do your nails how ever you would like. Personally I'm going to use one of my own nail designs for stage.
I'm probably going to use this design for myself:

It's cute but not over the top and all you do is print it off and press it on.

Just feels complete that way. I don't do acrylic just French on my own nails.

French on both for me as well. I know the judges can't see my feet but I just feel better when everything is done.

I usually paint my natural nails but this year I'll be using Broadway nails ( glue-on nails) You don't have to worry about nail polish drying or paying someone to paint your nails

SO TRUE...and i always paint my own bc of that reason...why spend the extra green?!

Agreed!

I do shellac on my toes and I go with any color I want. The shellac won't get stained and nasty from the tan and I never have to worry about it chipping. With that beig said, don't stress about toe nail color. When you're walking around in a teeny tiny blinged out bikini, I'm sure most people won't even realize you HAVE feet

my posing coach recommended french on toes and nails for bikini. I hate fake nails too because they come off my nails. I usually just do it myself, I will try to make a video and post it of how I do it. Saves me a TON! $$$$

I always did French for both, or at least the same nude/peach/pink color from the French on my feet. I preferred to match, and also for photo shoots.
