Congrats on your win.
I've only competed at Masters Nationals. I had many reasons to do that show but one reason was that it gave me a really good taste of competition with ladies my age and like always, to bring in a better physique each year. None of my competition goals involved getting a procard, but placing in the top 10 at the national level. That was enough to make me go to Masters a few times and try to do better each time.
I'm with Kenyatta on the scheduling and funds for a show. If you want to compete at a national show, you need to see what works with your schedule for the marathon and Ironman. Sure, your training is different for these athletic/endurance sports, but the end result is still an athletic physique, you'll just have to make sure you're balanced if you compete again in bikini. Only you can make the decision to compete, not your friends. It's great to have their support, but it's all on you and what will make you happy.
If you're not feeling it, continue to train for the marathons and the Ironman. That may give you the best satisfaction that you may not get from doing at nat'l show.
Hope you enjoyed that meal on Saturday! Best wishes on whatever you decide to do. Would luv to follow along on your training for the marathons and the Ironman!
