Mine Are Bigger Then Yours...

My Aloe plants! I grew them from one small plant my mother gave me probably 20 years ago. They are named Hans and Franz from the old SnL skit 'cause they are so freakin' huge. This is the 'small' one Hans:

And this is Franz! Yes, that is a full sized dining room chair next to it for scale:

They are taking over my house!

Wow! Those are huge! My parents have a few aloe plants that are nowhere near that size. My dad was the head ecologist for the US Geological Survey and a big wig at the GMU ecology department. I grew up with lots of houseplants. Not a weird, Little Shop of Horrors kinda thing, but a nice amount of some pretty exotic stuff. It's so odd to me when I go to people's homes and they have none.

Yeah, well my dad can kick your dad's butt! Just kidding. Very cool, Will! Plants don't live in our house. It's enough to keep the ones outside alive!

I have many plants, but those two are may favorite.
