Hey yall! My name is Di. I never know what to say in these things, but I've been lifting for about 8 years now. I used to be a professional dancer, but was forced into a change in career due to a battle with hypothyroid that led me to a huge weight gain. Before hypothyroid took over, I wanted to compete in either fitness or figure, but never got the chance to really learn enough to decide to prep for a competition before I started to gain weight because of my thyroid. I'm finally properly medicated and fighting my way back to my real weight. I'm hoping that by 2013 I'll be able to give serious consideration to prepping for a local competition. Until then, I'm just reading and learning everything I can from the women who are already doing it.
