How did number 56 end up in third place?
How did number 56 end up in third place? She was placed ahead of 8 women, including our members Lisa Zisa & Bridgett Gordon in class C at the 2012 NPC Midwest Open. She is young, pretty, but physique wise I don't see much development, she is pear shaped with little upper body development. Lisa & Bridgett have more muscle and a better x frame IMO.

I'm scratching my head. No question that the total package is lacking in more than just the physique development, especially in comparison to Lisa and Bridgett.

The only advantage I see here is she has youth and tighter skin, but I would hope shows are not just judged on who has the tightest skin. 3rd place has very little upper body development. I also can't imagine Lisa being to big now for figure.
Here is the top 5 comparison, 4th place (on your far right) overwhelmed the top 3 in muscular development.

Thanks for posting Jason. I felt the same away about the fourth place winner and I mentioned in a different thread that she blew all of us away with her development. I was scratching my head about the third place winner as well.

Figure is a disaster to judge. It looks to me that at this show they were looking for athletes with less muscle and the two woman on the end just had to much mass (for that show). I love muscle and if that is the way figure is headed I will take a pass.

Agree! If they want less muscle in like that in figure I'm not only taking a pass I'm wondering WTF is happening to an organization that's called BODYBUILDING! Isn't this sport suppose to be about building muscle through chemistry and body manipulation. Truly sculpting. Shit I thought the saying if it were easy everyone would look like it was suppose to hold true. Instead judges are changing to make those with muscle get punished...bullshit - ok off my soapbox

I see Andrea Jordan also competed in physique and won the overall.

I thought she was pretty amazing and put together a nice routine for physique.

Thanks so much for saying this, because there were a lot of ladies in that class who should have been placed ahead of her, IMO.

What's the name of the girl who placed 3rd? She looks very familiar. Doesn't she normally do bikini?
And I agree, I don't think she should of placed that high for figure at all.

I don't see any past competitive history on her.

Regardless, they always say they are judging based on what's in front of them for the day and the first three in the line up for the front mandatory are competitive with one another and the majority. It seems obvious that they would be top three.

I guess it just reiterates what people mean when they say you can only go into a show being the best version of you you can be.

Yeah I found her name: Steely Davenport
and I don't see any past history either.
She looked familiar to me because she was at the St. Louis show. Duh, didn't realize the pics you posted were of that show.
