It amazes me how cruel people can be toward others, especially in a group. You get a group of kids together, and they are like a pack of sadists. It's sick, now a days it's worse as people are recording people's misery.

Sometimes I really feel that the only cure for this kind of behavior is for them to really experience it themselves. Sad but true. I'd normally never condone really bullying a kid, but with some of them I'm not sure what else you can possibly do. I guess that doesn't just apply to kids though. Many adults would be more than furious if someone treated them the way they treat others.

back in my days if you acted a fool on the bus the driver would stop the bus and you were given a verbal warning then if you continued after a third warning they would report it to the office and from there parents were called to inform them the student could no longer ride the bus.

Thing is now and days some parents defend their child for that type of behavior and believe me I've seen it done when I did my share or volunteering in class rooms and field trips....not a good thing to do

That is ridiculous. The biggest thing is that alot of children just have not been raised to have any respect for elders or anyone period. It is just sick nowadays.

This reminds me of a time I was eating out late with my hubby and an over weight very intoxicated girl came in the front door. She had a A list of phone numbers with her and she tried to get some people to help her dial the numbers. So they did and when no one answered her calls they just left her there.
She had vomit on her clothing she looked abused and patrons started throwing food and verbal assaults at her. The managers did nothing!!!
Ok my hubby didn't like it but I sat her at our table got her address out of her called a cab paid her can fair and gave her cash for food. I carried out this obese girl to the cab no one helped!!
And what really pisses me off is that these young adults 19-23 who were harrasing her go to the same gym as me! I can't look at them the same way

This disgusts me. Middle school kids? What I don't understand is why she didn't go straight to the bus driver and tell him/her to turn the bus around and go right back to the school and have the parents come pick them up AFTER meeting with the principal. I mean, she is a bus monitor, right?

Also, how did this video get out? These kids were stupid enough to film it and put it up on youtube? How many times has this happened off recording???? I guess it's the skeptic in me, but kinda seems hoaxie. Maybe not.

These kids would have fit nicely in with Hitler's Nazi mob back in the 30's/40's. Sad and truly representative of poor parenting or no real role model in their lives.

Good question. I bet that would have shut those kids up quick. It seems to me the bus monitor should have a video and audio recorder.

Yep, it's all to common. Mostly the harassment is directed toward other kids. Some kids go through such treatment daily.
