Where would you have placed Heather Armbrust?
She was placed 14th in a line up of 17 women.
Supposedly she was penalized for some lumps on her buttocks........ LINK
I thought her conditioning was off. She herself admits to being only 90%........... VIDEO
Pics...........

I looked at the pics and couldn't really see any bumps....I think her placing was about right.

Heather has an incredible physique, and I think she definitely had the potential to be top 6, but Sioux is absolutely right....her conditioning just wasn't on for this show.
I agree with the judges in her placing. Actually, the judging was pretty close to all of my picks.

I am not a judge and I will admit to being biased here. I would place her in the top 3. Even in her current condition, I thought she would place high. Now for the so- called lumps or welts, I don't see a damn thing. Excuse my hard language... I don't know what kind of lame excuse it was. Mark her down a little bit because she is not in peak condition, but don't mark her down for non existent bumps. This is not even comparable for what they saw in Iris' glutes before...

Heather's placing was about right, although I would have placed her literally two to three spots higher. Something did seemed off about her this time around.

People are acting like there was some kind of conspiracy!!
She was not conditioned well enough. She's got the shape and structure
to take the crown someday, but this is the Olympia and you gotta bring your best. You don't and shouldn't ever get placed on potential!!

I saw her 3-5 week out pics on MD & was very impressed, but at this show something had changed. conditioning???cannot pinpoint it?...wider waist??? lack of confidence?....I would have said top 5 based on 3-5 week out pics but definitely not top 5 material at the Olympia.....

I was thinking similarly as well. She was my pick a few weeks back. Still everyone is allowed to have an off day.

There I was on the stage wandering why they didnt call her out...then later on when I was backstage watching her I saw the lumps from the side of the stage on both sides and I thought to myself could that be why??.....also my fiance saw from the audience the lumps too(I learned these are old old lumps not new ones...): ).....I just saw her pics and she was off...however she does have an olympia winning physique.......I peeked 1.5 days earlier myself and my physique changed so much(smoothed out)...it is frustrating because Im careful to keep everything conservative as far as prep approach.......I pray for heather for a positive resoluton and for her to get what she deserves! love you girl!

Thanks for the inside info Debbie!
Hopefully Heather will not retire and will compete next year. We shall see.

At least you admit that your biased. I will still ask the question, who would you have removed from the top 3 or for that matter the top 6 in order to accomodate your biased placing?
And I mentioned in a different thread, people cannot have it both ways. A lot of people looked the other way when Iris got docked at the Arnold, and now they're bent out of shape over Heather. At this level bumps are a dime a dozen. Penalizing someone for having them is like giving out a speeding ticket at the Indy 500.

I couldn't agree more. That being said, the talk of Iris Kyle's demise appeared to be a bit premature. She totally kicked ass!!!

I Would have removed Dayana Cadeau and replace her with Heather in the top 6. Just my opinion.

Regardless, where did Iris place with her bumps? I don't recall, but in any event Heather should have still placed in the top 10 JMO and we're all entitled to em!

For the record, Iris got knocked down to 7th at the Arnold looking more or less like she just did at the O. When it comes to Heather I would agree with you. Heather's proportions and structure alone should have landed her in the top 10. When she hits her conditioning she was in the top 5 last year. If she dials in she should be at the top every time, but this wasn't the case this past weekend. I think she was definitely placed too low, but I honestly didn't have her in the top 6. I've met Heather, and I've talked to her, so I like her personally, but for some to say that she belonged in the top 3 this year is simply absurd. JMO.

I respect your opinion, especially since you're sincere enough to admit your bias. As much as I like Heather I just have to disagree with you. Last year she looked fantastic, but she was off this year while also appearing a bit flat, while Dayana was as tight as always with excellent symmetry. I hope Heather can regroup and go for it again next year, because she is tremendous. Another thing to consider is that all the top 6 this year are in their late 30's and 40's, while Heather is around 30-32 (I think). She hasn't even entered her competetive prime physically, so it's possible for her to continue to improve and perhaps win the Ms. O. sometime in the not too distant future.
