BTW, There are two FitGems of the Week (one pro and one amateur). No nominations yet for any category, though.

No, you don't have to be a member of the site whatsoever to be nominated.

Since I have a lack of nominations (I just have one so far), I'm extending the deadline til the end of the month. Also, Here are all the categories and what I need for those submitting nominations. They will have their own page on the FitGems Site for that week, except for the Legendary and Future Gem of the Month.

For Pro FitGem of the Week:
Name, Photo, Website (if one is avaliable), MySpace/Facebook page (if one is avaliable), Mini-Biography about Yourself, Length of Career, Contest History, Favorite Competitor(s), Best Accomplishment So Far, Show That Made Them a Pro, Future Goals, Where Fans Can Contact You, Your Next Contest/Event (prior to sending nomination)

For Amateur FitGem of the Week:
Name, Photo, Website (if one is avaliable), Mini-Biography About Yourself, MySpace/Facebook page (if one is avaliable), Contest History, Length of Career, Favorite Competitor (s), Best Accomplishment So Far, Future Goals in Industry, Where Fans Can Contact You, Your Next Contest/Event (prior to sending nomination)

For Legendary Gem of the Month:

For Future Gem of the Month:
Name, Photo, Website (if one is avaliable), MySpace/Facebook page (if one is avaliable), Contest History (if one is avaliable), Mini-Biography About Yourself, Favorite Competitor, Best Accomplishment So Far, Where Fans Can Contact You, Your Next Contest/Event (prior to sending nomination)

Anyone can send in a nomination; it doesn't have to be just the competitors themselves. Competitors, fans, promoters, photographers, industry experts...ANYONE can submit a nomination. They will be reviewed on Fridays, and will be chosen on Sundays and will be there for the duration of the week, except for the Legendary Gem of the Month and Future Gem of the Month, which will be chosen at the beginning of each month.
