Does anyone know or has there been any talk about who pro girls have sent their application to get invited? ..specially the top girls? All I read about was Heather Armbrust, Monica and Oksana Grishina thanks to hardbody.com!

Last year they made the list public December 26th or 27th.

Well I was going to email Stephanie Lorenz who handled the consideration letters and put them on file but I decided to call today instead. I figured why not.

A lady answers the phone and I ask for Stephanie, and she tells me that she is out of the office and she could connect me to her voicemail. I then said "well maybe you can help me" and I tell her that I was curious on when the invites will be mailed out. She told me hold on a moment. I waited and then a man answers the phone. I automatically thought that this was Jim Lorimer I was talking to and then I was like "yeah right in my dreams". It was probably one of his staff.

So i asked him about the invites and then he explains the whole process to me on the selection and the comittee that knows all the athletes, etc. I listening to all this and I was thinking "wow, this guy is very very nice and he is giving me more information than I bargained for". He then said next week is when we should know about the invites. He then asked me my name and said that I am on the list for consideration. I then said thank you vedry much and ended the call.

I waited a few minutes and called back and the lady answers saying Hello Isabelle. I wanted to tell her thank you for her help and then she told me I was talking to Jim Lorimer and I was very impressed as he was super nice and I was also very honored.

I know I sound corny , but that was a pretty cool experience for me

Deanne Brown the 2008 Canadian National Figure Overall & Masters Overall winner has thrown her name into the mix.

Usually only 3-4 rookies get invites each year.

Will keep you posted! (List will be out very soon)

BTW if Deanne does get accepted it will be her Pro Debut.
